About Jakub
My name is Jakub Jurga and I offer conversation classes in English. I consider myself to be a competent and professional instructor with a desire to see my students improve. In my spare time I like to read, play football and play the piano.

I only offer conversation classes as I believe this is what students need the most from their time with a teacher in order to acquire proficiency in a given language. The length of the class will be 1 hour. Listening, reading, writing and grammar activities can be done independently at home. I model my lessons partially on the ideas found in this video - (concealed information) After obtaining my CELTA I taught EFL both abroad and in the UK. My lessons are for teenagers and adults regardless of level.

They boosted my confidence when speaking, expanded my vocabulary/ grammar and more importantly improved my pronunciation. Before I started the sessions with Jakub I confused some sounds with others, especcially during the speech. Jakub with patience and consistency made me realize that that if I spoke more slowly and carefully I would be less likely to do so. We worked hard on it and I feel that I am aware of it much more now than before taking the classes with Jakub.
