About Cindy
I am a recent graduate of Vanderbilt university, currently pursuing graduate school at UC Davis! I really love biology/sociology and most things STEM and actively work toward changing the culture usually associated with the field. I believe science is fun and doesn't have to be so cut throat, which is why I tutor. Hope to link with you soon!

I'm super flexible and chill. I believe poor outcomes in STEM are rooted in the unhealthy habits and expectations of the field and I try my best to counter them. I want this to be a space where you feel comfortable enough to fail and grow/learn from those mistakes. I've been a TA and have taught many intro bio courses as well as taken various upper devision biology courses. Although my degree is in biology I am willing to help with many other STEM courses.
Typical lessons would start with the material students present they need help on and any questions they have. I do have study sheets and lesson plans we can work through, if needed. I prefer my sessions to be tailored to what each student seems to need help with rather that give a blanket lesson.
