About Kirtik
I am a UNSW graduate with a Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics Majoring in Pure Mathematics and achieved a Class 1 Honors degree. I am currently waiting to commence my PhD in pure mathematics. The thing you need to know about me is that I absolutely love mathematics and love to share this with students by helping them gain an understanding of concepts that were previously extremely difficult! I want to teach students since I deeply enjoy working with people and building connections while we tackle difficult mathematical problems. I also want to help students overcome the idea that mathematics is an incomprehensible subject and as such I teach in the specific way that will help the student.

I prioritize understanding the concepts by working through problems together rather than long and boring direct lecturing. This helps to get an understanding of a wide breadth of problems in the most time-effective way while also leaving with a deep understanding. Lessons can range from 1-2 hours. I currently work as a tutor at UNSW tutoring first-year mathematics courses along with honors level courses such as modules and representation theory and functional analysis. My lessons are for anyone at the university level (1st year all the way to honors) who is having trouble understanding the course content and looking to achieve high marks in their course.
