About Lauren
I'm currently working towards becoming an academic in cancer research, so I've always had a love for learning myself as well as wanting to help others. Education is so important within STEM, not only for our understanding of the world around us but it can give such a good background for almost any career. I would love to help share my passion with someone else - as well as earn a little to help me save for my future PhD!

I am looking to teach Biology (GCSE/A Level) or Maths (GCSE only) for students looking to prepare for upcoming exams, as well as students in Year 7-9 who are looking for more support. I am new to tutoring, but I've always been the go-to person in my classes to explain concepts to my peers and excelled in my University supervision teaching groups of 3-4 students. I'd be looking to teach in 30min/1 hour lessons online or in person (Cambridge area) either after 5pm or at weekends. I teach similar to how I learn, which is to understand the basics and forego any complicated names or processes. Once you understand the basics the rest comes much easier later, and it's a great way to build confidence in your own abilities!
