About Joshua
I am a recent graduate from UC Irvine where I played on the baseball team and studied business economics. When growing up I always thought that I would struggle in the classroom and “school just wasn’t for me” - as I had ADHD which made school and homework very difficult and only seemed to get harder as I got older. I’m grateful for those years though, because they taught me how to keep pushing even when it feels like you tried everything, and that is what brought me to idea to tutor. I want to join you in the process of figuring it out and I want to be an aid and encouragement to you along the way.

I’m passionate about the process of learning and problem solving. I know that school can be discouraging and difficult, and often times it is the mountain top moment of “things clicking” that keep us going and encouraged. I want to be a resource to students that feel stuck when they aren’t understanding what is being taught. I’m confident in my ability to frame things in as many ways as needed until it all clicks and the student feels confident in their understanding.
