About Lucy
As a tutor, my approach is centered around creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for my students. I tailor my teaching techniques and methodologies to suit the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
Having studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths up to A level, I can understand it can be a challenging and frustrating task to grasp and retain these content heavy subjects. With my experience I have managed to curate efficient ways to tackle each of these subjects, helping me to achieve the grades to go to medical school.

I employ a combination of techniques to facilitate effective learning in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology. These include: breaking down complex concepts into more understandable parts, encouraging active participation through discussion, and providing opportunities for practice.
Generally, a lesson lasts 1 hour, but I can vary from this depending on topic or individual needs.
I achieved 3 A*s at A level in the subjects of Maths, Chemistry, and Biology. My experience includes working with students of various age groups and academic levels, from GCSE to A level.
