Hi, I’m Laura! I have completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and have a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I know that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand your strengths, challenges, and goals to create lessons that work for you.
I believe learning should be encouraging, enjoyable, and stress-free. Whether you’re trying to improve your grades, prepare for exams, catch up on difficult topics, or simply build confidence, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I explain concepts in a clear and simple way, encourage questions, and celebrate every achievement—big or small.
I tutor introductory chemistry, high school mathematics, accounting, and study skills, and I aim to make every lesson engaging and practical. My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive, and personalised. I believe every student can succeed when concepts are explained in a way that suits their learning style. Rather than simply providing answers, I help students understand the “why” behind each concept, building confidence and independent learning skills.
I tailor every lesson to each student’s goals and abilities, breaking complex topics into simple, manageable steps with practical examples and guided practice. My aim is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and reaching their full potential.
My goal is not only to improve grades but also to develop the confidence, problem-solving skills, and study habits that will benefit students throughout their education.
