About Akeem
As my journey through education has progressed from professional tutor, to substitute teacher, to a Mathematics Teacher. I encountered many students that say they do not like or understand math. I can empathize as Math was not my favorite or best subject growing up. But the Key to success has always been to keep trying and working hard. Math can be difficult, it can also be fun and rewarding.

My lessons will focus on understanding the material instead of just memorizing facts. I will also provide additional videos that are interesting to look at but are concise and to the point. I even have math games that can be played during down time. The testing strategies I provide will help students pinpoint how to solve any math question they see on a test so they do not feel anxious or scared.
