About Laura
In my 4 years of tutoring, I have been dedicated to getting my students the best results possible. Whether that be getting into a top university or boosting your GCSE or A Level grades, I have a wealth of experience in helping students get where they need to be. I do not rely on a one size fits all approach - I work with students in ways that work for them. This not only helps them to understand how they can improve, but how I can help them do it.

My teaching methodology is propelled by understanding where your weaknesses and strengths lie. I am proficient in gauging from formalised testing and my own testing to understand ability levels and then calibrate teaching to match this. My lessons can vary from 1-2 hours long, depending on student preference and lesson content. I like to provide lessons to understand key concepts, making information easy to remember, 'how to revise' study sessions and giving guidance on writing past paper questions. I tutor at a range of levels, from pre-GCSE to Undergraduate level, my specialism being Geography, but have also tutored English, Biology, Chemistry in the past.
