I believe Jamie to be an amazing tutor because throughout our collegiate experience together she always prioritized three things: trust, respect, and scholarship. She often made herself available, sometimes without due compensation or recognition, to help people who are going through a difficult time academically. I have seen Jamie do her best to guide her tutees and housing residents through difficult material. She was steadfast in finding resources when extra support was needed, and beyond elated when those under her guidance achieved new levels. She has provided me with help in grasping some difficult material, despite us being in two different areas of study.
