About Matthew
I am a second-year primary education student at the University of Auckland. After going to my placement last year, I felt successful when my students could understand what I had taught them. Therefore, I would like to become a tutor to educate more students as well as get more experience which could benefit my future job.

After studying priamry peducation at the Univerisity of Auckland, I figured out the best way to guide my students to understand things easily and faster. I will go through all the ideas of what I am going to teach first, then hand out worksheets for my students to finish. When the students cannot do that question, I will give them hints and guide them to find the answer instead of giving them the answer straight away. I will also adjust the difficulties of the worksheet. If it is too hard for my students, I will go through the foundation or hand out a more straightforward worksheet first. It is the best and the most efficient way to let the students absorb knowledge.
I would like to teach maths and chemistry for students who are doing primary to year 11 as I have required all the knowledge and method to teach them.
