About Mackenzie
Hi! I am an NYU graduate with a background in Economics and Mathematics. I am bilingual in English and Mandarin, and I enjoy helping students learn in a clear, patient, and encouraging way. I can support students with basic math, algebra, homework help, and Mandarin speaking practice.
I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so I like to explain concepts step by step and make lessons comfortable and easy to follow. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their skills, and feel more prepared for school or everyday communication.

I believe learning should feel clear, encouraging, and not stressful. In my math lessons, I explain each concept step by step and use practice problems to help students truly understand the material, not just memorize answers. I can help with basic math, algebra, homework, and exam preparation.
For Mandarin, I enjoy helping beginners and Chinese-American students improve their speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, and daily conversation skills. Each lesson is adjusted to the student’s level and goals. I am patient, bilingual, and easy to communicate with, so students can feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
