About Stephen
Stephen was recently jury team member for Arts Council San Jose “in recognition… of outstanding skills in research, performance and teaching.“
His students have become successful teachers of music also. Others have performed as soloists with orchestra, international performing arts festival and competitions, musical theater, as recitalists, members of concert choirs, pop music stages, opera and operetta, recording artists, state and county pageants, on television and in movies, Big Bands, in Europe and Asia, and at Carnegie Hall, New York City.

I am part of the Zimmer Family of musicians. As a child I performed all over California as a member of the “Young Zimmers”. As an adult I still teach music and perform. I have been successful teaching in person and through distance learning, so although I am located in California, I am able to reach my students and make a difference in their musical lives.
