About Jiya
Hello! I am a first-year engineering student at The University of Queensland, excited to begin the next chapter of my education journey. I am really passionate about STEM subjects, hence my choice of degree but I have also loved literature for as long as I can remember. Tutoring is an opportunity to inspire my passion to others, but it's more than that. QCAA has a set syllabus and guidelines and not many students realize how to use this to their advantage to maximize their grades, however, as a recent graduate I am in the perfect position to guide students.

I offer both online and in-person 1-1 tutoring for:
- all sciences from grade 7-10, specifically Physics for Grade 11 & 12.
- Junior math + Math Methods and Specialist for grade 10-12
- Digital Solutions and English/Literature
I have experience in both one-on-one tutoring (online and in-person) for senior students in Math and Science, as well as group tutoring across a range of high school grade levels and subjects. Lesson lengths and location are subject to discussion, however typically I prefer 1-hour lessons.
My rates range from $40-$60 depending on year level.
