About Catherine
My name is Catherine and I am a 22 year old graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my Bachelor's of Arts in May of 2023 and studied Psychology and Political Science. Although my studies were not math-related, I have always done well in math throughout elementary, middle, and high school, and I have spent the past two years as a math tutor for grades K-12. I love my job and am looking for new students, so don't hesitate to reach out if you are looking for any sort of math help! Along with math, I have always been successful when it comes to English or History so I can also help with those subjects.

I have over two years of experience teaching mathematics to kids in grades K-12, so I have learned to approach my lessons with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude for maximum success. I also have experience working with students with learning differences as well as gifted/accelerated students. I usually work with a student for an hour at a time but am open to longer or shorter lessons. Finally, I have experience doing homework help as well as general teaching so my sessions can be fully devoted to homework, to a personalized curriculum based on their grade level and current ability, or a blend of both.
