About Anna
I came into medicine simply because I wanted to use my brain to be helpful. Originally I thought I would want to specialise in acute medicine, but found that I prefer talking to people for longer, and getting to know them more than acute medicine allows. Which is why I chose Psychiatry.
I live in the UK. I have a dog, a cat, am a chocoholic and have travelled around most of western Europe, as well as parts of India, and Africa and a couple of US states. I adore trying new food and seeing pretty buildings. I used to party more than I do now, having now settled into a gaming phase.
During my practice I developed long covid, so I also have personal understanding of how strategies may need to be adjusted to help you to make the most of your circumstances. Learning difficulties (such as dyslexia and dyspraxia) can be catered to , as well as neurodivergence or fatiguing illnesses.
