About Kirsten
Hi! I am from Texas where I am currently pursuing my Masters in Biology! I graduated from Houston Christian University as a Biology major and I have been tutoring for 5 years now. I absolutely love tutoring because I want to help make a difference whether it be in children or adults. I understand the struggles of classes and I want to be able to offer my help and support students.

I like to start off by seeing what you already know and then work around it. When tutoring, I like to do an and Differentiated instruction and personalized style of teaching. I am one of those tutors who likes to give materials that may help the student, play games to enrich the student, and personalized style homework questions so they may understand more. I cater my lesson plans to each person and topic that needs to be discussed. My lesson plans covers the objective of we are learning, the materials needed, the activities that are being done, our goals, and feedback to help improve future tutoring sessions
What sets me apart from other tutors is my personal approach. I tailor my teaching methods to suit each student's individual learning style. This means I take the time to understand how a student learns best-whether they prefer visual aids, hands-on activities, or verbal explanations. I am also empathetic and carry patience because I recognize that every student has unique challenges. Lastly, I am committed to student success. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. I provide constructive feedback and celebrate their progress.
My lesson are for every grade level up to collegiate levels. I typically like to do 2-3 in a group so it does not feel like a lecture. I also do one-on-one lessons as well.
