About Meera
I am a Geography graduate from Durham University and have studied Maths A-Level, achieving an A* as a final grade.
Throughout my university degree, I have been tutoring Maths GCSE and KS3 to a student who achieved improvements in her final examinations and have also volunteered with a local primary school in my final years at school to help disadvantaged children with their reading. Seeing their advancement and growth really spurs me to teach more children about the subjects they enjoy.

I like to approach a topic by understanding what a student already knows on the topic. I like to then use interactive apps like a whiteboard to write some notes and do examples. Once they’ve understood the concept, I feel that the best way forward is to then use questions from textbooks/exam papers to consolidate.
