About Foster
My name is Foster, I am 27 years old and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University back in 2019 with a degree in Mathematical Sciences. Since then I have worked in Data Analysis for two different companies, and have continued to use Mathematics along the way in my day-to-day. I have a passion for learning in general and believe in everyone's ability to learn and understand difficult concepts, I think we as humans all learn in different ways, and it is integral that a teacher takes time to learn the best way to relay information in a way that it is more easily absorbed and understood by their students. I am optimistic that I can handle this process, and will be patient throughout the learning experience in order to better understand the best way I should be teaching an individual.

Math has always been an integral part of my life and something I enjoy doing, as well as teaching! I always enjoyed concepts being broken down so I could understand them in a more simple manner and I now love being able to do that for the next generation.
I like to run through problems that are giving my students trouble and see where the misunderstanding originates from. From there I can teach the specific topic so it is better understood, and then target more exercises that cater to those problems. I feel comfortable helping middle and high school students with any math-related needs.
