About Amy
I am a passionate scholar and, as someone who has always loved learning, has also always loved helping others with academic work. Not only have I volunteered in tutoring at my school, however, I have always habitually helped my friends and peers to improve. Throughout my school years I have always been involved in leadership and mentoring, including coaching a hockey team, captaining debating, hockey and being a house prefect. I have further been selected as an IB academic representative for my senior school years to further involve myself in the management of academics.

I believe that encouraging students to take their own autonomy in learning is important. By using tests and assessments as indicators of learning opportunities, students should be able to recognise their own weaknesses, which can be worked through with guided practice problems, explanations and other resources.
Lesson lengths are flexible but lessons must be held over zoom.
I have completed tutoring for middle school in my years at school both generally and in English specifically. My lessons could be for anyone in year 11 or below.
