About Amariyya
I encourage all students to try their best but also give some grace. I like to say, "It's not that you don't know it, you just don't know it, yet." With dedication and hard work students can reach their goals and build their confidence in math. I've been teaching elementary school for 4 years and have experience with teaching curriculums in math and science.

My teaching method is based in constructivism, where students use their previous learning to help build the foundation for new knowledge.
A typical lesson will start with an attention grabber based on previous knowledge. The student will watch me demonstrate the skill first, move to practicing the skill together, and afterwards they will apply the skill independently.
As math can be challenging for many young learners, I encourage all my students to have growth mindset. Having this mindset, students can improve their skills and confidence in math with a little work.
The lessons are for Kindergarten to Third Grade who need help in math.
