**Directed, efficient, customized, and relaxed.**
A confident learner is a successful learner, and confidence is important. I will encourage, not shame (I will never belittle or make my clients feel small), and you can be assured that topics are delivered perfectly so that my students can make quick progress right away. Do not underestimate the importance of delivery. Beginner English teachers make the fatal mistake of thinking that English, in general, is easier than it actually is, or that their students can grasp ideas they themselves do not understand. There is no shortcut to knowing how to deliver math lessons.

I teach lessons that are truly customized for my students. My teaching approach will be informed by them and their abilities, the way I structure my questions, even how I ask them—everything is driven by those abilities and where they are in their English language development.

Exam rubrics (what exam boards want to see and how they want to see it) will be highlighted, and weaknesses will be consolidated over time. Since I have been an examiner for certain English exams, I know how exam papers are graded and the best ways to structure answers (or not, depending on the case) so that full marks can be achieved.

My extensive teaching experience in schools has given me unique insight into the way teachers and lecturers think and what they want to see from their students in private tutoring. I will check to see if they have noticed any improvement.

Short-term gains are not the only thing on the menu. I aim to help students in the long term by discussing revision strategies and memory aids to ensure that topics covered in sessions remain relevant and exam-ready.

Remember, exams are not just tests of what you can do, but also tests of what you can remember.

Teaching is a two-way process, so be prepared for questions. Lots of questions. If obstacles are found, I will use a variety of questioning techniques to find the root of the problem. Once identified, bridges will be built, and a solid foundation will be laid to build more knowledge. Effective questioning is how a teacher succeeds in their role. One of the main benefits of Online Teaching is the opportunity to assess students' knowledge in a relaxed, calm, and non-judgmental environment, and provide solutions if needed.

However, I want to do more than just improve grades. I want to inspire, boost confidence, and show that English is something that everyone can do.
