About Pili
My name is Pilar and I am from Galicia, in the northwest of Spain. At the moment I’m living in London. I speak three languages and I have great capacity to interrelate with people. My greatest strength is my ability to design stimulating lesson plans that encourage students to fulfil their potential by imbuing them with a love and passion for learning and an appreciation for Spanish language and culture.
I have been working as a self-employed for several agencies. I have had the opportunity to teach people from financial services who work at Barclays, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Citi Group, Rothschild or Ernst and Young; as well as other services such as legal professionals or advertising agents. I worked with groups up to twenty people and one-to-one. I was teaching online for the last four years and I really enjoy it.
I adapt the lessons to the students, because every student is different and learn in a different way. Hope to teach you soon. I was teaching some of my students for more than three years and they really enjoy the lessons!

Every lesson is different, I always adapt to the students and make my lessons enjoyable. I use the communicative approach and different resources to help the students to learn easier. I use videos, interactive games and activities to learn and practice grammar, vocabulary…
If the student wants to use a book, we can also use books, so they can work with it at home and do revision after the lesson. I always send the students the lessons to print or to have in their computers.
After the lessons I send a feedback to the students and homework if they want.
