About Victoria
I am the type of instructor who believes that a lesson should seem like a discussion you want to participate in.
I didn't follow the typical road to teaching. I have a degree in information technology and have worked behind the scenes in tech for over 10 years, examining AI language outputs, identifying little flaws, and learning how meaning may break or link based on a few words.
That chapter changed me into a person who listens intently and explains things clearly. When my kids are perplexed, I don't just repeat myself louder—I find a new way in, sometimes with a sketch, sometimes with a tale, and sometimes with a moment of patient stillness until the light turns on.
I'm now a fully certified TEFL and IELTS tutor, and my days are split between cheerful, song-filled lessons with little ones and focused exam prep sessions with teenagers and adults. I love both. A five-year-old learning colours through a silly puppet and a forty-year-old finally mastering an essay structure are equally serious victories to me.
Because of my experience in information technology, online classes feel perfectly natural. Glitches don't bother me, and I create my own resources so that each slide feels like it was designed for you, not a template. Parents frequently express astonishment at how easy and entertaining a screen-based session can be, which I take quite delight in.
Outside of teaching, I'm interested in digital creation, a perfectionist when it comes to clear explanations, and am truly moved when a student sends me a message stating, "I spoke today, and I wasn't scared." That's why I do this.

My lessons are built around one simple idea: you learn best when you feel comfortable, seen, and just a little bit challenged.
We'll start with a chat—no pressure, no tests. I want to know what you're working towards (a band score, a job interview, the confidence to speak to your child's teacher) and also what you actually enjoy. That way, every lesson afterward is shaped around you, not around a random syllabus I found online.
For my youngest learners, lessons are full of movement, songs, and laughter. We don't just sit still and repeat words—we jump, point, sing, and play. I use puppets, props, and little reward moments that make children genuinely excited to come back. Parents often tell me the room sounds happy during our sessions, and that's the best compliment I can get.
Teens and exam students get a different kind of lesson: still patient, still encouraging, but with more structure underneath. I break down essays, timing, and tricky grammar into small, bite‑sized steps. I explain things the way I wish someone had explained them to me—simply, visually, and with plenty of room to ask "but why?" again and again until it clicks.
Adults who come for Business English or general fluency can expect real‑world practice straight away. We work on the emails you actually write, the meetings you actually sit through, and the conversations that make you nervous in real life—not generic textbook sentences. My goal is that you leave each lesson feeling a little braver and a little more yourself in English.
Because I hold a degree in IT and spent years working in tech, my lessons run smoothly. I create my own interactive slides in PowerPoint and Canva, tailor them to your level and goals, and handle any little tech glitch without breaking the flow of the lesson. You just focus on learning; I'll quietly manage the rest.
And mistakes? They're completely welcome here. I actually love them—because every mistake tells me exactly what to teach you next. I correct gently, and I celebrate the small wins loudly.
