About Jared
I currently work in a governmental, regulatory role that is adjacent to my expertise in Chemistry. I interact with businesses and the general public regularly, and focus on educating these people about the laws and regulations I enforce. I enjoy explaining and breaking down concepts and conduct myself with professionalism at all times. I have worked directly in the Chemistry field for over seven years before my current employment.

I approach tutoring by first finding out how each student learns (visually, aurally, repetition) and encourage them to try the problems with me and not be afraid to make mistakes. I break down concepts and find as many avenues I can to explain these concepts. Chemistry is for high school and entry level college (general chemistry) and may help in analytical chemistry. Math is High School/College Algebra. My lesson plan starts with what you know and where you stuck and then we work from there and I make sure to enforce known concepts consistently to help retain the information.
