Take the time to understand the student and how they learn best. Have 3 younger siblings that I have tutored throughout the years. My brother is in college and I am tutoring him in his math class. I tutored my sister in her college accounting class. I take the topic and get it to its most basic points for base understanding and grow from there. My goal is for the students confidence to grow and want to continue learning more.
