Becky is knowledgeable, encouraging, and can clearly explain and pinpoint exercises for improvement. She cares for her students greatly and also makes sure they enjoy what musical styles they are working on. I have 3 subs that have been working with her for almost 2 years now (looking forward to more years), and I have seen their talent develop and confidence grow incredibly with her!

I have been with Becky with over a decade. She has taught me so much about piano and music theory in general. I have performed for others multiple times now including for piano exams (which I always received high grades in). If I'm struggling with a fast or rather syncopated piece, she is there's to support me with gentle encouragement and leading by example. I always feel confident that I can eventually get through a piece with her at my side. She even started letting bring in my own music that I'm obsessed with and that's how I ended up with Undertale songs in my repertoire now! Another thing I really like is the emphasis on "pop quizzes" through sightreading to see where my knowledge level is at and whether I'm ready for more musically complex pieces. I highly recommend her as a piano instructor and will remain with her as long as I can.
