About Geofry
My name is Geofrey Nandwa, I specialize in applied mathematics. My passion in applied mathematics is from the fact that when we talk about mathematics is not just about solving mathematical equations and expressions, but we can view it as a powerful tool for understanding and shaping the world around us. From my lessons we will learn both academic expertise and practical experience with a solid background in areas such as modeling the real-world problems with mathematical equations for instance modeling diseases using differential equations (you can check my published paper on the dynamics of COVID-19). Helping learners solve problems and discover the beauty of mathematics is deeply enjoyable and rewarding. I am committed to creating a professional environment in which every student feels capable of achieving their objectives and goals.

Students have to understand the concepts before any computations. Problem-solving technique to ensure that students are able to make real-world applications, for instance, modeling disease dynamics. I encourage interactive lessons where students are allowed to ask questions they feel about any methodology used. I integrate simulations and practical examples to link the real-world problems with concepts learned. A standard lesson is in the range of 60-120 minutes. I have a strong academic background in applied mathematics in areas such as calculus, ordinary and partial differential equations. I have experience tutoring undergraduate students. My lessons are designed for undergraduate students studying mathematics and related fields. Learners of different levels from foundational to advanced. Students of all ages enrolled in undergraduate studies are welcome.
