About Alya
As a fellow student, I understand the challenges many face on their way to success — from intimidating teachers and lack of motivation to feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start. I aim to create a stress-free, supportive environment where students feel heard and understood. I’m not just a tutor, but a companion who’s walked the same path and wants to help others succeed. I’ve taught a wide range of ages — from explaining the anatomy of the heart to primary school students, to solving complex maths puzzles that even teachers found challenging. I also helped a Year 11 student improve her combined science grades from failing to a 5-5, giving her hope and raising expectations. In addition, I earned a Gold Award in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, reflecting my strong maths skills and dedication. Using my experience and resilience, I’m committed to helping students overcome obstacles and achieve their goals in a calm and encouraging way.
