I am a student at a competitive grammar school who is offering French lessons to students in Yr 7-9. Having completed the GCSE Spanish course and winning accolades in Modern Foreign Language creative writing competitions has proven my diligent work ethic and high-levelled skill in the subject

My teaching style is a fun yet useful approach to learning. I base my lessons on what the student is learning in class this term, working alongside the school-given textbook and checklist. I approach each topic by giving a brief overview of what will be covered and I will send out a checklist to the students to make sure they can also track their progress.
I encourage students to learn something new each time, whether that be a new technique or some new vocab to use every day.
No student should have to feel miserable in a compulsory subject so I hope to offer some help into making school more enjoyable :)
Depending on what Year they are in, I will set a light amount of homework to balance the amount they are getting in school. However, I won't set homework during half term or exam seasons as I think that getting a break from school and proper rest is very important.
