About Mariam
I am currently a pre-med student at Central Washington University. I am majoring in biochemistry. Math and chemistry are my strong suits in the academic field. I have tutored math through high school, and this will be my first time tutoring chemistry! I was recently awarded General Chemistry Student of the Year at CWU, and was a top 10% high school student in Washington state and at my high school!

My lessons are designed for high school students and college students enrolled in 100-level classes. When I teach, I like to take an imaginative and visualized approach. I want students to leave the lesson able to apply the curriculum to real-life situations; that is when I believe a student has fully understood the curriculum. A typical lesson plan would start with the basics and slowly build up to more complex problems.
