Chinese ,like every other language is interaction oriented and culture influences this communication/interaction. In the course of our tutorial sessions/scheme, we would be doing some researches, movies watching and music . And it would be time to dig out your drawing book cos we would be doing some drawings too. Talk about Chinese characters.
It is a taskful scheme, but the pleasures of fact finding in culture and history ,seeing Chinese movies and playing Chinese songs , keeps the spirit on. The teaching begins with an introduction to the understanding of how far Chinese has come and is going as a language, then the basic makeups of the words , the phrases and a whole statement ,in structures . At the end of it , anyone should be able to speak and understand very well . At least , you wouldn't have to cry over Chinese movies without subtitles, or underuse your Chinese made machine because you couldn't read the manual.
