About Alexandra
My name is Alexandra, and I am a fourth year student in TCD Geoscience, specialising in volcanology. Geoscience encompasses many different areas, including paleontology, oceanography, geography, geology, and more.
My goal is to provide a strong understanding of the basic principles and theories, and inspire those interested in the natural world around us.

I aim to work with the students natural curiosity, and encourage their growth whilst providing a thorough background to the subject.
Active recall is the primary technique that will be utilised. This includes blurting, mind-maps, diagram practice and discussions to encourage thinking independently. Online resources will be provided, including videos and animations in addition to the close study of the primary material including exam papers.
A free introductory session will be held to assess the students' individual requirements. I am familar with geography for Junior and Leaving Certificate, and those pursuing Geology as a matriculation exam for TCD, and other 3rd level institutes.

Details
I charge €15 for JC geography and geology lessons for amateurs. For higher level lessons with structured exams (LC, TCDs Matric) I charge €25-30. This allows for the in-depth course content, focus on specific exam strategies and extra time if required on particular topics.
