About Leah
Hi, I’m Leah! I am a second-year Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech with a strong background in math. In high school, I served as Vice President of the Math Honor Society, where I developed leadership skills and a passion for helping other students succeed.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing piano, running, and participating in Georgia Tech’s WREK radio station. I also serve on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team in my sorority, where I help support initiatives that promote awareness and belonging.
I am responsible, patient, and approachable, and I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and improving their math skills.

Hi, I’m Leah! I am a Georgia Tech Industrial Engineering student with a strong background in math tutoring and experience serving as Vice President of my high school’s Math Honor Society.
My tutoring approach focuses on breaking difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style and use guided examples, visuals, and practice problems to build both understanding and confidence. Rather than just giving students the answer, I help them understand why each method works so they can solve similar problems independently.
A typical lesson begins with a review of the student’s current topic and any areas of confusion. We then work through concepts and examples together before the student practices independently with my guidance. At the end, we review key takeaways and create a plan for continued improvement.
My online lessons are designed for middle and high school students who need help with homework, test preparation, strengthening foundational skills, or gaining confidence in math.
