About Yasmin
I am a PhD student in the University of Leicester, with hundreds of hours of demonstrating over the last three years for classes of undergraduate students studying Geology and Natural Sciences. I have experience working with small groups and individual students as part of a Natural Sciences degree program, many of them achieving above average grades in the module. I am able to teach Geology to A Level standard, and Biology, Geography and Chemistry at GCSE level.

Previously I have taught specialist subjects at 3rd year Undergraduate level. My teaching style is laid back and friendly, I like to provoke discussion with students as oppose to using a question/answer based method. I like to read around a subject area and encourage learning based on building knowledge from basics and linking subject areas together, rather than learning disjointed facts for specific exam questions.
