About Hugo
I recently graduated with a masters in social anthropology from the University of St Andrews, and before that, I received my bachelors in geography from the University of Exeter. I have four years of tutoring experience, helping students to flourish academically. I have always been passionate about knowledge production, and I intend to complete a PhD on the anthropology of religion and pursue a career in academia. In my spare time, I enjoy learning languages, running and practising the martial art of Aikido.

I run hour-long focused sessions on areas that the student needs help with. Usually, this involves revision of content and case study information with mind maps and interactive discussions, before moving on to the exam technique. The higher grades require not only knowledge, but application and evaluation of knowledge, so my sessions focus on writing an exam response together, lots of feedback as we go, and then rewriting.
