About Ben
HI! I'm Ben, a recent Geography graduate from the University of Oxford. Having studied Geography at GCSE, IB and degree level, I am confident in my knowledge and understanding of both the subject and what you need to succeed in Geography learning, homework, coursework and exams.
I have experience tutoring children of all levels in Geography, and with helping children with their Oxbridge applications. I understand children have different individual needs, and know how to tailor my sessions to address them most effectively. I am passionate about my subject and love helping students build their confidence in Geography.

I am confident in my ability to communicate with young people, no matter what stage of learning they are in. My experience ranges from tutoring at GCSE, A-Level, IB and Oxbridge application levels. Lessons are typically an hour in length, although this is flexible dependent on the needs of the student. I have experience helping students with syllabus content, coursework, exam preparation, organisation, learning skills and Oxbridge applications.
My approach to tutoring is based on empathy and patience. For me, the most important part of tutoring is instilling confidence within students, giving them the support they need to progress in Geography. That's why the content, style and pace of my lessons are tailored to the needs of individual students. That way, I can help students engage with their work in their most productive way.
