About Cassandra
High school students often struggle with the sheer volume of biological content. To be honest, I find the complexity of these systems fascinating rather than overwhelming. My 13 years of high school teaching combined with 10 years of tutoring informs how I break down difficult topics.
I hold a BS Biology and Chemistry from UC Berkeley. I have helped countless students master the circulatory system, photosynthesis and respiration, cell biology, evolution and natural selection, genetics and inheritance. I also guide students through lab report writing, data analysis, graphs, and exam technique. It is satisfying to see students turn B or C grades into A grades.
