About Emily
I am a recent BSc Psychology graduate with strong academic experience in Maths, including a Grade 9 at GCSE and a Grade B at A-Level. Alongside this, I work as a Learning Support Assistant, helping students aged 16–25 develop their Maths and English GCSE skills.
I pride myself on being approachable, patient, and encouraging, and I enjoy helping students grow in confidence and reach their potential. With my psychology background and experience supporting a range of learners, I adapt my teaching style to suit each student individually.

My lessons are one-hour remote sessions designed to provide friendly, patient, and personalised support with Maths. I help students work through difficult topics, answer any questions they may have and build confidence through clear explanations and techniques such as repetition and guided practice to ensure understanding before moving on.
I also provide tailored exam-question support to help students improve their problem-solving skills and prepare effectively for assessments. As a current Learning Support Assistant, I have experience supporting young people with a range of learning needs and abilities, allowing me to adapt lessons to suit each individual student.
