About Aaminah
Hi, I’m Aaminah, a current dental student, and I am incredibly passionate about helping GCSE students unlock their full potential in Maths and Science. Navigating the intense, highly competitive journey to dental school taught me that achieving top grades isn't just about studying harder—it’s about studying smarter. I want to tutor because I know exactly how overwhelming the GCSE syllabus can feel, and I want to share the active recall, visualisation, and exam-cracking techniques that got me to university. The 2-Hour Weekend Sprint: How We Secure Your 8s & 9s
A 2-hour session is exhausting, and passive reading doesn't work. Our split-weekend structure matches exactly how the brain learns complex maths and sciences: Learn on Saturday, Apply on Sunday.
Saturday: Core Content Mastery (1 Hour)
Saturday is all about closing knowledge gaps and understanding the "why". We take the heaviest topics on your syllabus and make them make sense.
• For Science: We break down complex processes (like respiration pathways, electrolysis, or electromagnetism) using visual dental-school memory techniques.
• For Maths: No memorising formulae blindly. We break algebra, geometry, and functions down into repeatable, logical steps.
• The Result: You move from confusion to complete conceptual clarity in 60 minutes.
Sunday: Exam Application & Marks-Mining (1 Hour)
Knowing the science or maths isn't enough; you have to know how to write what the examiner wants. Sunday is your secret weapon.
• For Science: We tackle tricky 6-mark questions. I show you the exact "scientific keywords" the mark scheme demands so you stop losing silly marks.
• For Maths: We look at multi-step problem-solving questions (the ones at the back of the paper). I teach you how to decode the question and pick up method marks even if you get stuck.
• The Result: You learn the exact tricks exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) use to catch you out.
