About Jasleen
I’m a 2nd year medical student at the University of Bristol, having studied Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A-level (A*AA). I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, both privately and through Explore Learning, where I developed the ability to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs.
I genuinely enjoy working with students to discover what methods work best for them and love learning alongside them too. My aim is always to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and grow.
Rather than just memorising content, I focus on helping students understand the why behind concepts. I use mini mocks and regular quizzes, with detailed feedback, to track progress and boost confidence. The goal? To turn exams from something stressful into just another practice session we've already smashed together.

As a recent college graduate focusing on OCR-A Chemistry, OCR-MEI Maths, and Eduqas Biology, I bring a fresh perspective and up-to-date knowledge to provide a personalized learning experience for A-level and GCSE students.
My three years of experience as a tutor at Explore Learning have honed my ability to stay current with the latest GCSE curriculum and ensure that no question goes unanswered.
My approach to teaching is interactive and student-focused, beginning with identifying knowledge gaps and addressing the least confident topics through regular quizzes to build a solid understanding.
As exams/tests approach, I will review past quizzes to prevent repeated mistakes and conduct mini mocks with thorough feedback to make sure the content is understood and not just memorized.
