About Ojasvi
I'm a 25 year old BEng Engineering and MSc Psychology Graduate living in Bristol with my partner, but I am originally from Mumbai in India. Lessons available in Hindi or English. I have experience teaching as part of an outreach programme to children in some of Mumbai's largest slums, and also have a particular interest in working with children with additional needs - I completed an internship with the Wales Autism Research Centre as part of my Psychology Masters to help my understanding here.
I currently work in hospitality in various locations in the bustle of Bristol, and also volunteer with several charities. I love crafts, cooking (especially homely Indian meals!), dance, yoga, spirituality and animals, especially dogs!
As someone experienced in academic study who has also faced challenges along my academic journey, I understand studying isn't always easy or enjoyable, so I genuinely want to provide a kind and patient yet positive environment to help you or your children learn, whatever you want to get out of tutoring, be that aiming to pass or aiming for the top grades. My lessons can be flexible, and can be tailored individually to focus on any topics within the curriculums of the subjects offered.

My Teaching:
I offer a calm, positive and patient approach and will tailor my teaching to meet the needs of individual students, and the topics they wish to focus on learning. I'm happy to work with all ages, including 11-18yr olds, as well as older adults who may be re-taking GCSE or A-Level subjects.
Teaching Experience:
Teaching Volunteer, IIT Outreach programme. I lead various extracurricular activities and taught Maths and English to children living in the poorest areas in Mumbai.
Autism research internship with Wales Autism Research Centre as part of MSc Psychology.
Academic Qualifications:
BEng Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science: IIT Bombay.
