About Bob
I have been a Language Teacher for 6 years teaching students of all ages and levels. Through the six years I have gained around 8000 hours of classroom experience. I have taught at two British Council accredited schools and prepared students for the university entry exams of IELTS, Cambridge and have a CELTA qualification with a top 20% mark so I am qualified to plan, conduct and most importantly.. to make the most of each class!

My name's Bob（巴布). I graduated with a degree in Mandarin Chinese, French and Linguistics in 2014. I have taught languages in 4 countries around the world to students of all ages and all levels. I have spent a total of 4 years living in China and have spent 3 years studying at two universities there. I have taken the HSKs and so I know how challenging they can be. I would like to help pass on my knowledge to you, and help you excel at Mandarin! Having spent so long learning Chinese, I know that it can often be taught in a book-heavy way - putting more emphasis on cramming characters in your brain, or almost like a long weekly lecture.
My methodology is based on using the Cambridge methodology of language teaching and applying it to teaching Chinese, making it more interactive and therefore... more interesting, more useful and more fun!
