About Darcey
Hey there! My name is Darcey. I really enjoy creative writing and being super imaginative. During my GCSEs, I along with many other students, struggled with anxiety and stress around my exams. However, along the way I learnt so many amazing skills and methods of learning and revising that not only allowed me to pass, but got me exceptional grades I never believed was possible. I understand how scary GCSEs and SATs can be so I hope to share some of my tips and tricks to get you feeling a lot more confident in yourself and your exam content.

My lessons focus on building confidence and understanding in both GCSE English and SATs through clear explanations, structured practice, and supportive guidance. As a former student of recent years, sessions will be tailored to each student’s level, covering key skills such as reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, spelling, punctuation, and exam techniques in a stress-free, relaxed manner to minimise exam anxiety. I aim to create a calm, encouraging online environment where students can ask questions freely, practise at their own pace, and steadily improve. Lessons will include interactive activities, worked examples, and personalised feedback to help students develop skills and feel prepared for their exams.
