About Freya
I’m a friendly and supportive tutor who makes sure students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them as it is one of the most important steps of the learning process. I love seeing progress and helping students realise how much consistent effort pays off. Being closer in age means I bring a fresh perspective and connect easily, so lessons feel engaging and enjoyable.
I achieved top grades (9/A*) in GCSE and A-level Maths, and I’m currently on a gap year before starting a degree in Economics, Finance, and Data Science at Imperial College London.

With over 3 years of tutoring experience, I provide supportive and adaptable GCSE and A-level Maths lessons tailored to each student’s learning style. My focus is not only on exam technique but also on building a strong understanding of the underlying concepts, so students can approach even the trickiest problems with confidence. I have helped students improve from grades 2/3 to 6/7, strengthening both their skills and self-belief. I offer both online lessons (using interactive whiteboard tools) and in-person sessions, depending on location. Each lesson is 1 hour.
