About Katarina
I am a current student mentor and tutor across North London schools for GCSE maths, English, and social sciences. I have background in GCSE and A-Level maths teaching and trained with the Coventry SCITT. I have an academic background with an MA in Education Policy and Sociology from UCL and BSc in Economics and Politics from Warwick University. I am excited to expand my tutoring skills with 1-1 training and subjects beyond what I currently tutor in. I love designing lesson plans and helping students gain subject confidence. I hope to help you gain skills and find joy in the subjects that I enjoy.

I will work with students to develop a multi-lesson plan focusing on student achievement and improvement checkpoints. This includes practice exercises and lessons which hone in on student needs relating to their exam board or in class curriculum. With my experience working at A-level and GCSE level in UK schools across multiple exam boards, I am well equipped to tailor lesson plans and pedagogy to students' strengths, learning styles, and needs.
