About Alice
Hello! I studied Biology at the University of Bristol and Imperial College London. I would love to share my tips and tricks that helped me achieve As and A*s at A level and that kept me working at a first and distinction in my degrees.
I am a keen scientist and understand the importance of teaching that inspires students as well as focuses around exam structures and schemes.
I love all things Biology, and want to share my passion. I have a specific interest in plant biology, ecology and conservation - all three being essential parts of the A-level and GCSE syllabus.

I have completed my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, with grades of A*, A, A. I studied Biology at the University of Bristol, and a masters in molecular science at Imperial College London and am a keen tutor. I will always work hard alongside the student to ensure that they are fully engaged and confident with the concept that we are covering.
I teach 40-minute or 90-minute lessons. We will begin with a recap of exercises set over the last week and work through any problems that arise. I will then have a prepared presentation with exam-based questions to work through throughout the session.
I am friendly and approachable and am able to clearly articulate how the student should improve. I am experienced in helping devise plans for people who are struggling in certain areas.
I think that a tutor should be a good study support, and I am enthusiastic to encourage my students to work towards an achievable future goal. I am happy to teach people of all ages.
