About Mia
I am a passionate, hardworking young person with outstanding English qualifications and wider humanities subject knowledge. I have offered private tuition for the last year for family and friends and enjoyed seeing students progressing and growing as academics. My uniquely tailored approach for each student is based in clear communication, technical understanding and engaging resources. My methods have proved successful, with the most notable progress being a 3 to a 7 in 6 months.

My lessons are each crafted to suit the goals, needs and abilities of students which makes for a unique and impactful learning experience. Sessions aim to break “big” concepts down into more manageable and memorisable chunks. A foundation of specific terminology and literary themes teaches students skills that are easily applied to a range of texts.
My more recent experience with the subject as a student at both GCSE and A-level has taught me a collection of tips and tricks as well as valuable exam technique. I also enjoy using a range of resources in lessons to keep the work engaging and exciting; including film, music and art.
