About Sessi
I am relatively new to private tuition, but have 18 months of experience with group tuition at First Class Learning Tuition Centre Hayes. This involved teaching children from the ages of 5 to 16 English, Maths and 11+ preparation. I tutored over 30 students during this time, and saw many progress onto grammar schools as I myself attended.
I am now on my Gap Year from education, having just successfully completed my A Levels, working full time at a Law Firm to gain experience. I am keen to tutor on weekday evenings and Saturdays and am currently earning my Level 5 Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification.

I teach academic English (Literature & Language) up to GCSE level, and English Literature up to A level across London and Greater London (West). I also teach English as a foreign language, and am currently working towards my Level 5 TEFL qualification. I can teach numeracy and literacy to Primary School students, and have experience in a tuition centre doing so.
I use a variation of teaching methods depending on the student's style, and the complexity of the content, including powerpoints and written tasks. I also set comprehensive homework, and provide contact details for if students need help with this outside of lesson time.

Sessi privately tutored my son for just over 6 months before his exams and managed to bring his GCSE grade up from predicted a C to achieving an A. She is exceptionally gifted at English and worth every penny, beyond grades she really helped to improve his confidence with reading as English wasnt his first language
Sessi worked part time at my franchise tuition centre in West London for a number of years and was such a delight (we secretly want her back!) but we are so proud, although not shocked, to see her going off to Cambridge. She applies a personal touch to her tutoring, is clearly extremely intelligent, and evidently passionate about education. She has a knack of bringing children out of their shells, especially when it comes to reading and comprehension.
