About Bethany
I am currently a gap year student who had just completed their A-Levels (Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics) achieving AAA. I have a lot of experience in tutoring students and have perfected an approach which is adaptable for any student I take. Additionally, I also seek to strengthen my students' curious spirit, believing that intrinsic passion is what builds lifelong, well-rounded learners.

After tutoring several GCSE students, I have found that the most effective approach to learning is to split sessions into two types: webbing and wielding. "Webbing" sessions will be a content-rich hour where concepts will be combined or "webbed together" into a hypothetical problem or "theme". During each session I will guide you through the problem such that it will give you a greater understanding of the concepts outlined in your subject's specification. "Wielding" sessions will also be an hour long and will focus on how to use your knowledge to attack exam questions, specific to the exam board. Finally, I will give advice on how to develop independent study skills and how to manage time effectively, which is vital for those who plan on/ are applying to medical school.
